Our Story

The One Voice Women Trade Network (OVWTN) was born out of a pressing need: women’s business associations in Kenya faced fragmentation, duplication of efforts, and limited influence on trade policies. These challenges weakened the collective power of women entrepreneurs in shaping inclusive trade ecosystems. OVWTN emerged as a solution—unifying women’s trade associations under one banner to speak with a stronger, coordinated voice. Through collaboration, the network enhances policy advocacy, market access, and financial inclusion for its members.

Strengthen their institutions through targeted capacity building
Access new markets through coordinated linkages
Mobilize sustainable resources and partnerships
Leverage research and data to drive change
